Cranialsacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on practice that supports deep relaxation and body awareness. Through light, intentional touch, sessions invite the nervous system to settle, soften areas of tension, and create space for a greater sense of ease and connection. This quiet, restorative experience offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, and support your overall sense of well-being.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapeutic practice that works with the body’s natural rhythms and subtle movements to encourage relaxation, ease tension, and support the body's innate capacity for balance and healing.

Developed from osteopathic traditions, Craniosacral Therapy focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal cord. Practitioners use a very light touch, typically no more than the weight of a small coin, to assess areas of tension and restriction throughout the body and encourage a greater sense of ease and balance.

During a session, you remain fully clothed and comfortably rest on a treatment table. The practitioner uses gentle, intentional touch at various points on the body, including the head, neck, spine, and sacrum. Rather than manipulating muscles or joints, the work is subtle and noninvasive, inviting the body to soften and settle without force.

Many people find Craniosacral Therapy deeply relaxing. Sessions may provide an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of physical sensations, and experience a quiet connection with the body. Some people notice warmth, gentle pulsing, or a sense of release, while others simply experience deep rest.

Our Practitioners:

Chelsey Wilson, LMT

Chelsey started her journey into body work back in 2010 after graduating from the massage therapy program at The Healing Arts Institute of Fort Collins, CO. Her number one motive in the body world is to influence wellness and empower her clients toward a healthier future. While traveling in Peru in 2021 Chelsey met her reiki teacher. Through many influences, her style works not only with reiki symbols, but she also weaves in the healing powers of stones, the movement of your chakras, and the cleansing powers of sound. Chelsey's first exposure to Craniosacral Therapy was in 2012. She dabbled adding the modality to her massages for over a decade. Shortly after moving to Bend, Chelsey began to study under the local teacher and practitioner, Regina Callahan. As her study deepens, she is continually inspired by the profound impact of such a gentle modality.
